The Influence of Biden Administration's Supply Chain Security Strategy and China's Response

Following the June 2021 release of the Biden administration's assessment report "Building resilient supply chains, revitalizing American manufacturing, and fostering broad-based growth", on February 24, 2022, the White House announced 10 new measures to strengthen U.S. supply chains, deal with climate shocks and geopolitical tensions, and ensure that China or other countries cannot use supply chains as weapons against the U.S. This roundtable discussion mainly focused on three issues: (1) the characteristics of the Biden administration's intention to create an "upgraded version" of the national supply chain security strategy; (2) the impact on China's industrial chain and supply chain; (3) how to deal with the above-mentioned US strategy?
